Love Lessons

The Mark & Brian Show of KLOS 95.5 FM put out a nationwide search for singles who deemed themselves ready for marriage. The radio reality show dubbed “Two Strangers and a Wedding”, began when the radio station picked 5 potential brides and 5 potential grooms. What was at stake? An all expense paid wedding; rings, reception, gifts, and honeymoon, you name it! The catch (and, it’s a pretty big catch), the prospective winners, a bride and groom, will see each other for the first time on their wedding day. A true “nice to meet you” at the altar wedding! The ten vying contestants were strapped to a lie detector and asked a series of questions by - guess who? Me! The experience was fantastic! It was incredible fun, and I found the process so fulfilling that I just had to share some of the value of it with you all.

As the radio station’s resident Loveologist, I was able ask some very personal questions. Not being one to shy away, I dived right in, full steam ahead! and why not? After all, it’s “Two Strangers and a Wedding”, not “Two Strangers and A Funeral.” I strongly recommend anyone planning on getting married, to ask their significant other the same frank questions before tying the knot. Getting answers to these most intimate questions may save you a lot of heartache. Let’s face it; sex and intimacy are a big part of marriage, which is why I’m giving you the opportunity to ask yourself and your lover, some provocative questions so that you can discuss any potential problems before they occur. Sit down somewhere comfy, with a candle and a fine glass of wine, look each other in the eyes, be honest and fearless, and go for it!
